Blackmailing the New Czar

The conservative bubble occupiers ( big C’s and little c’s ) ranted almost weekly at the appointment of what they called “czars” in the Obama White House dailycaller.com/...,www.theobamafile.com/....  Unsurprisingly, they are all silent when it has become clear that a real Russian Czar helped install an American President.  I guess I should not be astonished by this development. The Republicans set out on a propaganda offensive against President Obama, starting the day he was inaugurated.  So, the seeming simpatico with Vladimir Putin they are tacitly approving, for the sake of “winning,” is expected if not treasonous.

During one of the eight Benghazi fishing expeditions endured by former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, she made famous or infamous the line, “what difference does it make” in an attempt to add context to her questioning www.politifact.com/....  In the past few days I have listened to the supporters of Jill Stein and Bernie Sanders, liberalsplain to me the mistakes of the Clinton campaign.  I am not concerned about failed political tactics in the face of having our system of democratic government changed by a hostile foreign enemy. What real difference does it make?

Forgiving Comey

Hillary Clinton was lambasted through speculation.  To my knowledge no one has found any credible evidence of her divulging classified information to “hostile actors” because of having a private server.  FBI Director James Comey, said many times no evidence of her emails being hack exist but, it was “possible”www.washingtonpost.com/....  I believe Mr. Comey’s redefining of the previously investigated emails as a “pertinent” development was made to sabotage Mrs. Clinton’s campaign and restore himself to the good graces of the GOP after clearing Mrs. Clinton earlier www.washingtontimes.com/... .  His breaking of protocol and defying his boss, Loretta Lynch, at the Department of Justice by making a post investigation statement indicting Mrs. Clinton, in the court of public opinion by accusing her of “extreme carelessness” did not save his bacon with Republican zealots. They wanted nothing short of, “lock her up.”

The Blackmailing of a President-elect…

With the daily revelations by what has amounted to the clear majority of American intelligence agencies and Mr. Trump’s cloak of secrecy around his foreign financial dealings, the question must be asked, “could President Trump be blackmailed?” He is embracing foreign murderers and despots. Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, has been implicated in mass murder plots www.theguardian.com/... and the atrocities committed by Vladimir Putin from Crimea to Syria are undisputed. Duterte, whose word is dubious at best, has claimed Mr. Trump, “praised” his murderous rampage against the Philippine drug cartel; Trump has literally fawned over the leadership of Putin. Purportedly Mr. Trump is indebted to Russian banks and his real estate properties, in the Philippines, could be threatened by a bad relationship with Duterte www.washingtonpost.com/...,www.npr.org/....

The questions around the President-elect are not just made up “sore loser” talk, despite the protestations by spin queen Kellyanne Conway.  Ms. Conway is constantly hyped by corporate media as this, really nice, competent straight shooter. When I see her spinning every question into a counterattack, with total disregard for reality, it is amazing shareblue.com/....  If Mr. Trump survives four years of his Presidency without going to jail, Putin will have succeeded in installing America’s first Czar.

Vote 2018, it’s not too late!
