The guru of orange subversives, Donald Trump, has built his wall unbeknownst to the Republican Party. It travels the length of Arizona, traverses through Wisconsin and ends in the great state of New Hampshire. The three most well-known names in Republican politics from these states are respectively, Senator John McCain, House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senator Kelly Ayotte. Two of the three are in tough Senate battles and Paul Ryan seems comfortably ensconced in office, but he too is peering over the Trump wall of non-silence. Ladies and gentlemen I am embarrassed for the country I love and hold sacred. I have a dear friend who was born in Jamaica and she laughed out loud at the prospect of America electing Donald Trump. It was not Mr. Trump that tickled her bling-bling, but the citizenry of the most powerful nation in the world electing a side show carnival act as its President.
Forever the showman, Donald Trump has spent four days orally bombarding us with the most incendiary, headline grabbing antics he could manufacture. Starting with the Khan family and capping it off by intimating that John McCain is not loyal to American military veterans, Ryan is not a strong leader and Ayotte is disloyal to him. He has brick by brick walled off any degree of dignity that the Republican party had left, after making him their nominee for President of the United States. Speculation is now coming from all quarters that Donald Trump is suffering from and demonstrating a pronounced personality disorder. I don’t want to make the mistake of former Republican Senator(Dr.) Bill Frist whom, to his discredit, tried diagnosing brain dead patient, Terri Schiavo for brain activity using a television image and political motivation.
So avoiding amateur psychiatry I am just going to leave the psycho analysis of Mr. Trump to those far more equipped than me to judge. Politically he is either truly the biggest neophyte, since Sarah Palin or, as I have theorized, the cameras are rolling for the newest entrée into reality tv land with, “Trump, My Run for President!” coming in the fall of 2017. It will be Hee-uuge. This campaign has been a boondoggle from day one with the proclamation that Mexicans are criminals and rapist, Black Lives(don’t) Matter, Muslims have to pass a religious test to cross our borders and now women should quit their jobs if sexually harassed. There is no one left to insult on the food chain of voters except uneducated white men and women. No political expert or novice would advise or believe he can win solely based on that vote. I am also convinced that the cake has been so baked by Hillary Clinton’s outlandish accusers that she is a murderer, treasonous money grubber and enabler for the abuse of women that Democrats need to be careful. I watched former Bush forty-three White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer, make three TV appearances in the past 24 hours. At each stop he reluctantly admitted (with the obligatory, “but Hillary” jab) that Donald Trump is not fit to hold the office but he would hold his nose and vote for him. So the next gold brick that comes crashing through your tv screen, remember Trump’s edict, “I love the uneducated” and duck!
