He is authentic, he speaks for me, he says the things I can’t say - Trump supporters
Donald Trump has told us, since he rode down an escalator and stopped at the basement floor of our lives, that he is the real deal. Paul Manafort, longtime political insider and new campaign manager for mogul Donald Trump, said out loud what we have all known about Mr. Trump for years, he is a phony. Manafort, who is now moonwalking his widely publicized Trump reset comments, revealed that Mr. Trump is playing a role to get votes and will change at election time. He is now using the, ‘taken out of context’ trope to tell us what we heard him say, was not what he meant.
Mr. Trump tried over the weekend to appear Presidential, whatever that means. Maybe he is not wearing his Chinese and Mexican made clothing or speaking in a dull monotone, I don’t know. This came a week after he tried out a new nickname for Hillary Clinton and threatened riotous behavior at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. It also occurs to me that if you have a candidate threatening the delegates attending his own party’s convention by exposing their room numbers and names, what happens in negotiations with North Korea or Iran, BOOOOM! Annihilation to prove a point is not smart, its insanity. Trump has said he will build a wall, bomb countries, confiscate oil fields, ban immigrants, redo trade deals and take away healthcare for millions; is that the truth?
If I could, I would place a wager at a bankrupted Trump casino, that not even he knows the truth any longer. The defacto leader of the Republican Party, has tried every method possible to disqualify himself. He trashed the reputation of Senator John McCain, proposed nuclear proliferation, called his voters uneducated and has made preposterously impossible promises. From the day he told us Mexican immigrants are lying in wait to rape us, he has signaled that his candidacy is a farce. As I have told anyone willing to listen, in two years when ‘Trump’ the reality show is a weekly look into the clownish nature of his run for President, I will not miss the opportunity to gloat. You had better believe that every moment of his campaign will be shown on whatever broadcast medium exist in the future. The American public will eat it up, all the insults to both individuals and the American electorate will be forgotten in lieu of the latest sexy news cycle and the Trump Circus will barrel-roll down the road. Currently, Hamilton is the hottest ticket on Broadway, in a few years save your money for, Broadway Don! The biggest production of folly, and self-indulgence the country has ever seen and just as fictitious as the Trump campaign.
