I watched a group of what is being described as, by some, “ unhinged lunatics” last night and was appalled. So I turned off the Iowa Republican Debate and watched the video below, courtesy of The David Parkman Show and YouTube.
After checking the deadbolt on my front door and saying a prayer, I decided to continue watching the Republican Debate broadcast from Des Moines, Iowa.
I listened to Marco Rubio, tell me that President Obama, has “deliberately weakened America.” Then Chris Christie say Rubio is the second coming of Obama. Ted Cruz, opened with a badly written stand -up act to deride Donald Trump, who was down the street continuing to pull the wool , or corn husk in this case, over the eyes of Iowans. I have to admit John Kasich, and Rand Paul did make an attempt at some substantive answers to questions, but the base of the Republican Party wants buffoonery and lies, its entertaining. I guess? Jeb, let me not forget the exclamation point !. Praised his Dad as the “greatest man alive and President” he even mustered the courage to mention his brother’s disastrous Presidency, but followed it up with the phrase, “fine I’ll take it.”
Facts, data and scientific proof are passed off as some global conspiracy to deny Jesus. In the face of two-hundred countries and ninety-seven percent of the scientific community, confirming global climate change, an indictment by the Texas attorney general, alleging the dissemination of the Planned Parenthood videos was a smear campaign and the undeniable statistics, that illegal immigration is currently at a net zero gain, the REPUBLICANS, continue spewing disinformation. To what end? Only the tired hamster in the cage spinning his wheels, going nowhere, can understand.
