If It Walks Like a Duck, Quacks Like a Duck, It’s Probably a Reich

While the press and, consequently, the public seem enthralled with the back-and-forth between Reps. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Crockett’s real oversight is ignored. The Executive Director of America First Legal[Gene Hamilton] made an arrogant attempt to minimize questions directed at him by Rep. Crockett, with derisive facial gestures,  about their support of what can only be described as a fascist agenda by the Project 2025 group. Although X Post meme conversations are enticing clickbait, Crockett’s confrontation with Hamilton is crucial for American public education. Proudly, he admitted he is in favor of gutting the Department of Education and the Department of Commerce and deploying the United States Military to conduct law enforcement operations against protestors.

Aside from destroying any regulatory restrictions on capitalism, thereby creating the Russian system of oligarchs, they further want public education unregulated. The real eye-opener was his admission, upon questioning, that the destruction of the Civil Service by replacing workers with less qualified loyalists should alarm the public to the point of rebellion. In America, we have a law called the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, which prohibits the military from enforcing civil law. If you are speeding, a uniformed battalion of Marines cannot descend upon you brandishing M-16s. The law was put in place to stop the abuses resulting from the extensive use of the army in civil law enforcement during the Civil War and the Reconstruction.

The quiet reactions of an ill-informed public are aiding our quiet dissent against fascism…

Just a few days ago, a call for a “unified Reich” was propagated and endorsed by Donald Trump. Like a judge telling a jury to ignore what they heard, Trump pulled the message after 24 hours, but his brown shirts got it and accepted it. Reminiscent of his infamous “stand back and stand by” call to domestic terrorists, Donald Trump is getting bored with hints, and I predict he will soon call for the raising of MAGA troops.  In 2016, Mr. Trump endorsed a group of 30,000 Bikers for Trump, who acted as a de facto protection force during the 2016 campaign. Mr. Trump has hinted at violence, asking gun owners to have his back on more than one occasion with veiled threats to Hillary Clinton and the various judges and prosecutors who are taking legal action in his ongoing legal battles.  “If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But I’ll tell you what, that will be a horrible day,”said Trump.

The former President has quoted Hitler verbatim, calling his perceived enemies ‘vermin’ and ‘poisoning the blood of the country.”’ Issues that warrant attention are sacrificed to the altar of clicks, views, and likes. An example of that was a recent (almost brag) that he purposely did nothing about gun violence in schools. Talking to the NRA's Great American Outdoor Show, Trump told the rapt audience, "During my four years, nothing happened. And there was great pressure on me having to do with guns. We did nothing. We didn't yield," he said.

So, the Republican stance is to advocate for an uneducated populace of money worshippers armed to the teeth when the military comes to make an arrest, guided by an American Reich Hitler wannabe; what could go wrong?
